Résumé
In 1945, at the close of the Pacific War, an invasion beset the planet Earth. Droves of hostile aliens —Phantom Beasts— landed, and with their strength and numbers, they virtually slaughtered the united military forces of Earth. Now, with a dwindling supply of soldiers and a struggling frontline, the veterans of this apocalyptic war must look to their children to continue the fight. Atsushi Hayami, a teenager, must abandon his schoolbooks and take up arms in a war that will ultimately unite one world and destroy another.
