At the beginning of the story, everyone is alone; at the end, everyone – well, almost everyone – has found their other half... Nana Li reimagines Twelfth Night’s Illyra as a world of snowy mountain tops and lush green valleys influenced by ‘steampunk’: a popular fantasy style that draws on the early 1900s for inspiration.
