Velveteen and Mandara

Teenage girls, Velveteen and Mandala, take refuge along a river in the Toyko outskirts of Suginami. Residing together in a fully-equiped army tank the pair are essentially all the seperates their neighborhood and the rest of Tokyo from a full-on zombie invasion. While the countless undead may appear to threaten their survival, cohabitating with each other may expidite their ultimate demise, as they fight over technology, substanance, and personal space. Velveteen & Mandara reminds readers that while there are an increasing number of external forces terrorizing our lives, true horror often lurks much closer to home. Ultimately zombies can be vanquished with enough firepower, but escaping one's memories may be impossible.
