In the late twentieth century, tremendous advances in robotics lead to the development of the vLabor, a humanoid mecha designed to perform heavy industrial work. But after these super-tools become the weapon of choice for criminals and terrorists, the Tokyo Police establishes a division of Patrol Labors – Patlabors – to fight fire with fire!
